No Country for Old Men - Was on the edge of my sofa with the blanket over my eyes! Loved it! (Like the scary photo, Friendo?)

Dan in Real Life - I actually laughed out loud! Cute movie.

Eastern Promises - Western boredom. Bo-ring. But there is a naked shower fighting scene with Viggo Mortensen where he's being thrown everywhere and you can see his junk! Let me also say that I am so tired of seeing Naomi Watts in movies where she has to uncover the truth about someone that died mysteriously or murdered. Why don't you try a romantic comedy, Naomi?

Darjeeling Limited - (shrug my shoulders and say: eh.) Nothing special. A lot of talking. I feel like they were trying too hard to be "indie" with the music and dialogue. However, thank god for Adrien Brody whose character was subtle and lovable. Everytime I saw Owen Wilson, I wasn't sure if he was trying to be funny or serious. He's in so many comedies and plays the same type casted role - I was confused watching him.

Beowulf - the special effects are amazing. Worth watching just for the fight scenes.

I liked Beowulf, it was fun to watch 3D though most of the really vivid 3D came from the dirt or pebbles flying around onscreen and not anything else. (At least in our theater.)
I must respectfully disagree about Dan In Real Life. Yikes! I had to fast forward it about a dozen times from boredom. I think I saw the whole movie in less than 10 minutes. Perhaps it was my fault for expecting it to be like Steve Carrell's other movies. Ya know, I should subject all of us to a "outdoors family workout" next time we get together, just to prove to you THAT MOVIE WAS FREAKIN' UNREALISTIC!
